My name is Michael Jae and I like to think we are friends here, so let me tell you a little about me. My interest in radio started when I was 8 as my parents bought me a mini DJ set and I went crazy. Since then it became a sickness. I finally got things started in 1997 as I booked independent concerts and worked at a college station. When 2000 came around, I started producing some really crazy shows on public access television and then in 2002, I started going to Columbia College Chicago to pursue a career. I interned for News Radio 780, 670 The Score, and 94.7 The Zone. I eventually did a morning show on a smaller station, and worked in the production department of WZSR/WWYW in Crystal Lake. I met Libby there and knew automatically that I liked her, and when given a chance to be the producer of her show, I jumped at the chance. It has been fun and every day is a new adventure. I love talking to you guys and hearing your opinions. Good stuff! I was born in Chicago and my family tried to teach me that there are two teams in baseball. Thank goodness I learned that there was one and that would be the White Sox so as you can tell, I love baseball. I also like racquetball, playing poker, and writing. My music interests are varied, but I especially enjoy Fear Factory, Nine Inch Nails, Ice Cube, Fiona Apple. I am a vegetarian and have compassion for animals. I like to watch movies as well, and write reviews on my site as well as commentaries about life. Plus there is more info about me. I live with my wonderful and much better half Vicki and have 3 cats who are like sons to me, and most importantly, we just welcomed a new addition into the world, my wonderful daughter Jersey. I also do TV as "Michael Jae Project" airs Thursdays at midnight on Comcast Access Channel 17. Thank you and have a nice day.
