Don Rudny is the former mayor of Gurnee, Illinois. He served in that position from 2001 to 2005. He is a professional engineer and has been working in the field of automotive engineering for over 35 years. Don and his wife, Celeste, are originally from Chicago and have lived in Gurnee for the past 28 years. Don enjoys debating political issues and believes in truth, justice and the American way, but recognizes that he's not Superman.
Tom Chamberlain is a life long LakeCounty resident who has lived in Gurnee for over 25 years. He was elected three times to the Gurnee village board. He is self-employed as a construction sub-contractor and married to life long Gurnee resident for 23 years. Tom has two daughters who both attend the University of Illinois – Champaign, and he is the only republican in LakeCounty who is both a card carrying member of the ACLU and a vegetarian.
