(Waukegan, IL)  A Lakemoor woman has pleaded not guilty in the Lake County court to charges of theft. Laura Weber was an employee at the YMCA’s Camp Duncan in Ingleside from 2005 to 2006, when an audit found some 50-thousand dollars missing. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office was called in, and determined that Duncan was involved in the theft. They say she admitted to stealing about 22-thousand dollars, but the other missing money couldn’t be accounted for. The 38-year-old is due to go to trial in late September, she faces up to 7 years in prison if convicted.
